Apply for APC funding in language and education research

Did you know that there are almost 200 open access article processing charge (APC) funds available to researchers worldwide? Many leading institutes and funding bodies require that research publications resulting from their grants are made freely available to all. By publishing your research on Language Testing in Asia you fully comply with open access mandates, and the publishing costs may be entirely covered by the research grant. This means that you won’t have to pay any publishing fee and you retain the copyright.

Here you can find the complete list of research funders and institutions worldwide that fund open access article processing charges (APCs). Sources of APC funding are listed by country, and links to each organisation’s open access funding and policy/information pages have been included where available.

Among the funding bodies that cover APC for open access publishing, those mentioned below have the highest output of research in the education field, according to InCites:

National Science Foundation
NIH National Center for Research Resources (NCRR)
National Science Council of Taiwan
German Research Foundation (DFG)
European Union (EU)
National Natural Science Foundation of China
Canadian Institutes of Health Research
